Back After Loan: Dan Gleeson's Loan Spell With Cambridge Has Ended
Notts duo Bobby Wilson and Dan Gleeson's loan spells at Hucknall Town and Cambridge United respectively are over following the conclusion of the season at non-league level.
Wilson, who is yet to make a competitive appearance for the Club, enjoyed two months in the Conference North with Hucknall where he picked up important match practise under former Notts star Andy Legg.
Hucknall ended the season in mid-table, thirteenth place, fourteen points off a playoff spot.
Gleeson meanwhile spent the last two months or so with his former club Cambridge and quickly became a vital part of the team at right-wing-back and in his eight appearances the U's suffered only one defeat as they escaped the drop from the Conference with a fine run towards the end of the campaign.
As well as a number of impressive performances the defender, who made twenty-two appearances for the Club at the start of the campaign, weighed in with his first ever professional goal in Cambridge's 7-0 over Weymouth in March.
The pair have now returned to training with the Magpies, while Alan White and Junior Mendes remain on loan at Peterborough and Lincoln until this weekend although it would seem likely that Mendes' loan will be extended at Lincoln given they are set to feature in the playoffs.
Experienced campaigner White has weighed in with three goals in six games at the Posh, while Mendes is still looking for his first goal at Lincoln after eight appearances to date.
