Magpie Manager Of The Year Experiences Day With The Magpies Squad
Tuesday 8th May, 11:00am

Magpie Manager Of The Year: Jack Richardson
The Notts County Team Coach had a special guest for the final game of the season at Macclesfield last Saturday after young Jack Richardson claimed the Magpie Manager 2006/07 crown, and nottscountyfc.co.uk was on hand to follow him around and see how the experience of travelling with the team went.
The 12-year-old finished top of the tree out of 192 entrants in the Magpie Manager Fantasy League where Magpies fans pick three attackers and three defenders in their team and see who can total up the most points during the season - all a bit of fun as part of our ever-improving Matchday Magazine.
Magpie Manager will again be running next season after its big success this year, which saw all the players enter and take part.
As this year's winner Jack won the opportunity to travel with the team for the day to Macclesfield, which began with an 11:30am arrival at Meadow Lane to enjoy a pre-match meal of Pasta and Chicken with the squad before leaving for Moss Rose where he was able to get his Magpies away shirt signed by the squad and also spend some time with the squad on the Coach, including Kevin Pilkington and Manager Steve Thompson.
Upon arrival at Macclesfield he helped unload the equipment to take into the dressing room, and as well as enjoying photos with all the squad he met up with Macclesfield Manager Paul Ince before heading to the stands to enjoy the game and see the Magpies end the season with another point in the bag thanks to Andy Parkinson's goal which cancelled out John Miles' opener.
He travelled back with the squad to Nottingham and enjoyed the post-match Pizza on the bus home, as well as being handed Saul Deeney's match-worn shirt, Ian Ross' signed boots and also a signed programme from all of the team from the day.
Congratulations to Jack for winning this year's Magpie Manager, and we hope he enjoyed his day with us as much as the Players, Management and Staff enjoyed his company during the day.
