4:45pm: Three minutes added on. Picken fires just wide, just wide from outside the box. Brushes the side netting.

4:44pm: Last minute time, and Chesterfield are giving everything going forwards - equally Notts are giving everything too. This has been a cracking local derby.

4:42pm: That chance would have sealed it for Notts. Now Chesterfield are pushing forwards.

4:41pm: Deep cross by Silk finds Parkinson unmarked at the far post but the ball failed to drop from the substiutte and his tame effort saved by Roche.

4:39pm: Chesterfield pushing forwards, but Notts are working their socks off.

4:35pm: Silk's cross from the right causes havok and Parkinson and the midfielder have a shot blocked each. Notts appeal for handball, nothing given.

4:34pm: Silk on for MacKenzie, meaning the former Portsmouth man will operate in midfield for the latter stages.

4:32pm: Butcher volleys just over for Notts from around ten yards out. Good cross by Parkinson for Notts, who has been impressive since coming on. Gary Silk looks set to come on for Notts.

4:30pm: Foul by Dudfield on a Chesterfield player leads to Butcher being booked, obviously for something he said. Dudfield also booked.

4:28pm: Hunt off for treatment for a minute, but back on now. You get the feeling this game isn't over yet.

4:26pm: Notts corner, Tann effort blocked. A Notts player is down and Chesterfield break but Niven volleys well wide.

4:18pm: Chesterfield feel Lee is giving their defence a real rough ride and few elbows, but the Referee isn't having any of it. Pilkington makes a brave claim from a corner.

4:14pm: Notts have looked dangerous from free-kicks today, another one swung in by MacKenzie but the visitors clear. Notts still looking confident, but they need a second really to ease the nerves.

4:11pm: Chesterfield change, Rooney on for Fletcher. Another straight swap in attack. Dudfield has done well for Notts since coming on, some nice touches.

4:08pm: Dudfield is on for Sam, straight swap in attack.

4:07pm: Dudfield looks set to come on for Notts, he is stipped and ready for action.

Half-Time: That's it for the first 45 minutes, Notts lead through Hunt's header and more of the same in the second-half please! See you in fifteen minutes

3:45pm: 1 Minute added time here, Notts still ahead and easily the best game we've seen at Meadow Lane so far this season.

3:41pm: Chesterfield beginning to stamp their authority on this game, but Notts don't want to give this lead away.

3:39pm: Pilkington pulls off a superb save to deny Lester a certain goal. Robertson's run down the left eventually led to Lester being picked out on the turn six yards out, but with his goal-bound effort certain to hit the net the Magpies goalkeeper tipped the ball over.

3:36pm: Chesterfield blast another effort from range at goal, but this one is way over.

3:34pm: Close-call for Notts Winter shoots from outside the box with a right-foot drive which took a deflection, but luckily with Pilkington beaten the ball came back off the post and the eventual follow-up from Lowry was wide.

3:32pm: Lester turns Hunt well in the box and gets a left-foot shot in which lacked power, and Pilkington saves well.

3:31pm: Fletcher heads tamely at Pilkington from a long Chesterfield throw-in. They will be disappointed with their lack of chances so far.

3:30pm: Tann makes a great clearance to deny Lester a run at goal. Hunt equally makes an important clearance inside the box as Lester finds room.

3:29pm: No real chances since the goal to report on, but still a good, high tempo from both sides.

3:27pm: Neil MacKenzie just fired a sizzling volley wide. It's been a really good first-half here so far, some entertaining and attacking football from both sides.

3:24pm: Notts looking settled thanks to the goal, and although Chesterfield have pushed forwards but the defence have remained solid.

3:20pm: GOAL! Notts take the lead. MacKenzie's deep free-kick finds Stephen Hunt with a diving header, and it was beyond the reach of Roche and into the back of the net. A deserved lead for Notts.

3:19pm: Chesterfield's Leven fires a free-kick towards goal from 30 yards, and he is just off target.

3:11pm: Notts really getting the ball down and passing it around well here, the fans will be pleased with what they have seen.

3:07pm: A few meaty tackles here, but no clear-cut chances. A good atomsphere too at Meadow Lane.

3:05pm: We've started at a cracking pace here, there are surely going to be a few goals in this one. Both frontlines look lively.

3:03pm: Notts corner falls to Weir-Daley at the back post but his shot is blocked. Chesterfield break, but Lester slices well wide from inside the box.
