Snap Up A Tandem Ticket
Notts County fans are being encouraged to take advantage of the special cash incentive in place for our two festive home games against MK Dons and Rotherham United.
We face League Two leaders MK Dons on Boxing Day, and that fixture is quickly followed by promotion-chasers Rotherham at Meadow Lane three days later on 29 December - two very attractive fixtures at this time of year.
Both have been designated as Category A matches, which means adult and concession spectators attending one or other of the games will be asked to pay £2 more than the normal League price. There will be a £1 increase for Junior admissions.
But, anyone who commits to backing the Magpies in both games - and purchases a Christmas Tandem Ticket before the Ticket Office closes at 2pm on Christmas Eve - will avoid having to pay the increase.
Manager Ian McParland said: "The two home games are a massive test for us as both sides are going for promotion, but we're well up for the challenge.
"Supporters can play their part too, and I would encourage as many supporters as possible to take advantage of the offer that is in place for the two games.
"Obviously watching football is expensive, so the fact fans can save themselves a few quid at this time of year is an opportunity not to be missed."
Supporters who retained their match-ticket stub at the previous Category A match, against Chesterfield in September, can redeem that and avoid the increase for the Rotherham game, but it is recommended that they do so by purchasing a ticket in advance.
The ticket-stub, which classes as a voucher, cannot be used for the MK Dons game - nor can it be used against the Tandem Ticket.
Said Notts chief executive Geoff Davey: "As against Havant & Waterlooville and Shrewsbury, when admission prices were heavily reduced, we are keen to make it as attractive as possible for supporters to come to both games over the Christmas period.
"But we have to try and balance that against the fact that these are two big games for us and they represent a chance to give our finances a much-needed boost.
"Hopefully, by introducing the special Christmas Tandem Ticket, we have come up with a compromise that is fair to our regular fans."
Tandem Tickets can be purchased from the Ticket Office from 9am to 5pm all this week, and from 9am to 2pm on Christmas Eve. Tickets can be purchased in person, or over the phone on 0115 9557204.
