Kop Stand A Hit From The Off
Next season's Season Tickets went on sale from the Notts County Ticket Office on Tuesday morning, and the first two through the door were keen Magpies supporters David & Stewart Hartshorne - who are both moving into the Kop Stand.
David & Stewart have both opted to move from their seats in the Jimmy Sirrel Stand to the Kop after the stand was handed over to supporters for next season last week, citing their reasons down to the atmosphere and view in the Kop.
Both were waiting in the Ticket Office queue at 9am yesterday morning, and are pictured above proudly displaying their Kop Stand tickets for the 2008/09 season after becoming the first supporters to purchase their Season Tickets.
Stewart, who hails from Bingham, said: "The fans moving into the Kop is fantastic news and I'm absolutely delighted.
"There was no doubt in my mind I was moving into the Kop after experiencing the atmosphere in there for the Accrington game.
"All weekend I was buzzing off the back of it - it was amazing."
David, from Long Eaton, was also amazed by the atmosphere in the Kop.
"The atmosphere has been brilliant and the fans being in the Kop full time is a real step forwards," he said.
"We're also delighted to hear Michael Johnson has agreed to sign for next season.
"That shows we're progressing as a Club, and we're already looking forward to next season."
