The Annual Notts County Open Day takes place at the end of this month - and we've got plenty of exciting events and attractions taking place down at Meadow Lane!

The Open Day will be taking place on Sunday 27 July, running from 10:30am until 3pm and admission is free of charge. Supporters and members of the local community are all very welcome to attend.

The Open Day ties in nicely with the launch of our new 2008/09 first and second strips, which will go on sale first thing on the Sunday morning from Club Shop.

The players will be taking part in a training session on the Meadow Lane pitch from around 11am until 12:15pm and from 1pm onwards fans will be able to meet the squad, including the new players, and get autographs and photographs in the County Suite and also the Club Shop.

And thanks to Official Photographer John Sumpter, supporters will be able to take away their pictures with their favourite players on the day, while fans will also be able to meet the Management team Ian McParland, Dave Kevan and Tommy Johnson in the Sponsors Lounge. In the Boardroom an Open Forum with the Boards of Directors will be taking place, allowing fans to put their questions to the Board - including Chairman John Armstrong-Holmes from 12:30pm onwards.

Another exciting aspect of the Open Day will be the final trails for the Under 15s and Under16s for the relaunch of the Notts County Centre of Excellence on the Meadow Lane surface - allowing supporters the opportunity to come and view the potential stars of the future from around 2pm.

There's plenty for all down at Meadow Lane - including a Bouncy Castle for the kids. And as part of 96 Trent FM's 'Thunder Summer Tour' the Black Thunders will be down at Meadow Lane bringing games, face painting, sweets and a branded tent with an area for children to take part in a colouring competition!

The Notts County Football in the Community team will also have their inflatable Powershoot up and ready for action off the back of its very popular appearances in the past and Nottingham City Council are also sending some of their Sports Leaders down to Meadow Lane to get in amongst the action.

And for those older supporters wishing to look back on our past, we'll have old match footage playing on a big screen in the County Suite, as well as plenty of Notts County memorabilia.

Various other stalls up and running on the day, including the Supporters Trust, Supporters Club, Nottingham Rugby, Matchday Magazine and Lifeline - and if you get a little peckish the tea-bars in the Derek Pavis Stand will be open for business to purchase hot food and refreshments. The Ticket Office will also be open to allow supporters to purchase or collect their Season Tickets.

And there still a number of other exciting attractions to be confirmed, so keep checking back to nottscountyfc.co.uk for further updates - and we look forward to seeing you at Meadow Lane for the Open Day later in the month.
