There are lots of dedicated County fans who cannot get to matches very often because they're now living in far-flung places - and many others who regularly drive long distances to be a part of the Meadow Lane experience.

Their loyalty is very much appreciated and BowlesAssociates, who produce our Matchday Magazine, are planning to give them the recognition they deserve throughout the course of the new season.

A brand new series is being introduced, entitled Faraway Fans, and one of these unsung heroes will be featured each time.

Many of them will no doubt be too modest to nominate themselves for a day in the spotlight so BowlesAssociates need help to identify likely subjects. In order to qualify, they simply need to be true Magpies living more than 75 miles from Meadow Lane.
