Hard Work Continues
The Notts County squad were well and truly put through their paces this morning in possibly their toughest training session yet at their training complex in Austria.
After a productive early morning training session which included passing and finishing drills, the squad had their fitness levels pushed to the very limit.
In two separate groups the squad completed a 4k run around the running track at their National Sports Centre headquarters in Obertraun, and after a hard week's work which has seen double sessions take place every day the players proved their fitness levels are looking good by completing the run.
It rounded off a very strenuous weeks worth of work, which has also seen the Magpies take in two friendly matches whilst in Austria.
Manager Ian McParland said: "The lads are where we expect them to be fitness wise, and the most pleasing aspect of the week is the way they've conducted themselves and gone about their work - they have been superb."
The squad fly home tomorrow, and will return to training on Monday with another tough week in store before the friendly against Hucknall Town next Thursday at Watnall Road (7:30pm).
