Open Day Preview: Watch The Lads Train
Ever wanted to see the Notts County players put through their paces on the training field?
Well this weekend you can - as part of the Notts County Open Day at Meadow Lane.
As Ian McParland's men aim to the kick the season off on a high note this is your opportunity to see what happens behind the scenes in a training session.
From 11am onwards on Sunday the Notts County squad will be taking place in an open training session on the Meadow Lane surface in preparation for the 2008/09 season.
For those who weren't able to take in the pre-season friendly at Hucknall last night it is the first opportunity to see the new signings in action - and certainly a first time on the Meadow Lane pitch.
It will be the first time the team have graced the immaculate Meadow Lane surface since its summer revamp.
Manager Ian McParland said: "It will be a training session with a difference for us with the fans being there watching us.
"As part of the Open Day we think it is a great idea to have an opening training session on the pitch, so if fans want to see what we get up to on the training pitch it is the perfect opportunity.
"The supporters can also meet the players and myself afterwards, so we would love to have as many people down at Meadow Lane as possible."
That's just one of a number of attractions at the Open Day - which kicks off at 10:30am on Sunday 27 July down at Meadow Lane, with the new kits which have been designed and manufactured by our new kit suppliers Vandanel officially going on sale from 10am in the Club Shop.
The Open Day itself is set to be another exciting day down at Meadow Lane, with fans able to take in plenty activities on the day - including the opportunity to meet the new squad for the first time and also view the final Centre of Excellence trials on the pitch.
The other events include:
