Notts County's new home and change shirts set new kit-launch record sales on their first day of sales on Sunday, nottscountyfc.co.uk can confirm.

Interest in the new-look strips, which went on sale at Sunday's Open Day, was at a new all-time high with over 300+ shirts sold on the first day alone.

Just fewer than 200 home shirts were shifted on Sunday, while well over 100 change shirts were also sold.

Retail Manager Lynn Lawson said: "Sales were at an all-time high for a kit launch, and it is fair to say we're delighted.

"Both strips seem to be a real hit with the supporters, who were commented on the quality of the design and also the product itself.

"The figure of just over 300 sold doesn't even include the sales we made through the Online Store, which was also very busy following its relaunch on the same day.

"We were busy throughout Sunday which was very encouraging, and as well as the shirt the new Vandanel training and leisurewear was also very popular with fans."

Shirt printing was also very popular, with the Michael Johnson the name requested most by supporters.
