Gary was one of many new recruits signed by Steve Thompson soon after replacing Gudjon Thordarson at Meadow Lane, and the young right-back who enjoys getting forward and support the attacking play joined the Club after being released by Portsmouth a few weeks before he put pen-to-paper in June 2006.
Gary picked up his League experience with loan spells at Wycombe and Boston before joining the Magpies.
He also operated in midfield towards the end of the 2006/07 season, highlighting his versatility as well as assured and consistent displays.
