Young goalkeeper Tim joined the Club on 1 July 2007 after being released by Plymouth Argyle after completing his Scholarship with the Championship club, and following Saul Deeney's release from the Club the Magpies started the summer in the hunt for a new goalkeeper.
The giant shot-stopper was spotted by Steve Thompson last season whilst with Plymouth and following his release he was recommended to the Magpies by Plymouth boss Ian Holloway.
The youngster will challenge Kevin Pilkington for the No.1 jersey this season, as well as at the same time picking up valuable experience from the former Manchester United custodian and also goalkeeping coach Steve Cherry.
His impressive attitude following his arrvial, and a solid debut against Barnet in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, resulted in a one-year extension to his contract in September 2007.
