Defender Lee put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal at Meadow Lane midway through pre-season 2007 to bolster Steve Thompson's defensive options after losing Mike Edwards until 2008 with a broken leg and dislocated ankle.
The former Arsenal youngster can perform at right-back as well as centre-back, and despite his relatively young age he brings good experience to the squad having tasted promotion from League Two with Torquay.
He had looked set for a move to MK Dons earlier in the summer and initially held talks with Thompson over a move to Meadow Lane, but that fell through and after trials at Bournemouth and Brentford he was only too willing to head to Meadow Lane once he got the call.
